The Owner leases the Licence to Black & White Cabs or an affiliated Operator for a fixed rental. If the lease is for a period of more than 12 months, the rental amount will be reviewed annually to align with current market conditions. Under this form of agreement, the Operator provides the vehicle etc. Taxi companies have an abundance of Operators who are generally willing to accept Operator Agreements for Licences either directly from the Owner or via a “sub-lease” arrangement with the Company. Notification of a Taxi Service Licence Lease must be lodged with Queensland Transport on the appropriate form.
