AILA-NY and @TheNYIC are teaming up to teach you how to combat immigration fraud! Free, but space is limited.

The New York Immigration Coalition and the New York Chapter of the American Immigration Lawyers Association are co-sponsoring an evening training on adressing immigration fraud in New York City and State. This presentation will give the attendees the tools to identify the unauthorized practice of law, to understand the consequences of poor advice or preparation, to report instances of immigration fraud or poor lawyering, and to find quality legal assistance. An emphasis will be placed on enforcement of existing laws and resources, and tips and suggestions will be given to counter the possibility of widespread fraud if comprehensive reform is passed.
