Global search for new CEOs to deliver a world-class rail network for Sydney and NSW.

Minister for Transport Gladys Berejiklian today announced the start of a national and world-wide search for the CEOs of the state’s new rail operators – Sydney Trains and NSW Trains. “The jobs of these chief executives will be to deliver a world-class rail network for Sydney and NSW with a new era of customer-focused culture,” Ms Berejiklian said. “I am also pleased to announce that prominent businessmen David Gonski and Peter Coates have agreed to lead the search for the new CEOs at no cost, working with expert recruiters to ensure we get the best people for the job. “The new chief executives will be tasked with delivering a dramatically improved service for customers, ensuring our trains are as safe as possible and delivering better value for money for taxpayers. “These will be challenging and complex roles and we will be looking for candidates with the experience and co...
